22-year-old lightwegith fighter Sage Northcutt has signed a deal with Asia-based promotion One Championship, which is also home to former UFC champions Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez.

MMA star Sage Northcutt has signed an exclusive deal with Asia-based promotion One Championship. At just 22-years-old, Northcutt is one of the sport's brightest fighters, and One CEO Chatri Sityodtong celebrating the huge signing on social media. 

"Please join me in giving a big welcome to multiple-time karate world champion, Black Belt Hall of Famer, and rising global mixed martial arts superstar Sage Northcutt to One Championship," Sityodtong wrote on Twitter. Northcutt also announced his new signing.

Sage Northcutt (11-2) made his UFC debut three years ago at age 19, recording a 57-second knockout in his promotional debut. He went 6-2 while in the UFC, with fights at both lightweight and welterweight. He finished out his contract with UFC earlier this year and began fielding offers from multiple promotions before ultimately choosing One Championship

One Championship is also home to former UFC champions Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez. Sityodtong has not yet announced when Northcutt will make his debut for the promotion.
