Last night's episode of NXT 2.0 was headlined by WALTER vs. Roderick Strong, but there was an unexpected twist after the former picked up the win. Grabbing the mic, he announced that his new name is "Gunther," a clear indication Vince McMahon has finally decided to rebrand the former NXT UK Champion in his own image.

WWE has actually trademarked the name "Gunther Stark," but a look on Google reveals that there was a commander in Nazi Germany with the same moniker. Whether the company is aware of that is hard to say, but it's in pretty poor taste considering the fact WALTER is, in fact, German. It's also hard to believe this somehow escaped their notice.

This wasn't the only creative change made during NXT 2.0 this week. Solo Sikoa is now wearing facepaint like his brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso, and is also wearing makeup to sell some recent "burns" inflicted on him by Boa.

Sarray is also being repackaged after supposedly returning to Japan. Now, she's returning to America with a new look, so we'll see how this goes for both rookie Superstars. You can check out Solo's new look below, but WWE has yet to release the video teasing future plans for Sarray.
