Hell in a Cell was headlined by WWE Champion Bobby Lashley taking on Drew McIntyre with the stipulation being that if The All Mighty wins, the Scottish Psychopath can't challenge him for the title again.

It was a hard-hitting match, but a referee bump led to another official unlocking the door and MVP making his way into the ring to break up a pinfall attempt. Needless to say, McIntyre wasn't happy, and he took out Lashley's manager with a devastating Claymore Kick.

MVP would recover, though, and held McIntyre's foot to allow Lashey to score the cheap roll-up victory.

As for the rest of the show, Natalya defeated Mandy Rose on the Kickoff show, Bianca Belair retained the SmackDown Women's Championship in a Hell in a Cell match against Bayley, Seth Rollins stole a win from Cesaro, Sami Zayn took down Kevin Owens in a bloody bout, Charlotte Flair beat RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley...via disqualification (so no title changed hands).
