It looks like there might finally be some progress on WWE's plans to bring Brock Lesnar back.
Apparently, the company did hope that Lesnar would be locked into a deal in time for SummerSlam before zeroing in on John Cena for that rumoured main event match against Roman Reigns.
As we learned last week, The Beast isn't scheduled for that PPV and no match with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is in the works...yet. There have been rumblings that there are no plans to create new merchandise for Lesnar, but chances are WWE is being careful to keep all that under wraps.
Right now, it sounds like WWE is definitely in talks with Lesnar, and if Survivor Series is going to be a big show - The Rock could possibly make his in-ring return there - then that's a possibility. We'll have to wait and see, but WWE is clearly intent on making this summer as huge as possible for fans.
Other big names expected to return soon include Becky Lynch, Edge, and The Bella Twins.
