Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, And More React To Being Released By WWE
Earlier today, WWE announced that they had released nine Superstars (the majority of which we didn't see coming), and some of them have now taken to social media to react to being fired. Check it out...
A year to the day WWE released a number of Superstars in the midst of a pandemic, another round of big names have been let go by the company. You can find the full list here, and while some of them may have asked for their release, it's still a shock WWE would bid farewell to such talented wrestlers.
We won't hear from them about what really happened for at least 90 days (that's WWE's standard non-compete clause for those released), but a handful have commented on social media.
Joe shared a pretty serene message with fans, while Mickie James clearly has no hard feelings towards WWE and is excited to move on and get back in the ring after being sidelined.
Chelsea Green, meanwhile, seems similarly psyched to share her old persona with fans again, while Tucker...well, it sounds like he has a story to tell about his final few months working for WWE. A few months from now, there will be plenty of interview and revelations from all these Superstars, though we're just excited to see where they end up.
Get ready, All Elite Wrestling fans...

Grateful for the memories. Grateful for the locker room. Grateful for the fans. Grateful for these little keys to my golden handcuffs. You can never expected others vision of you to be big as your own dreams. Thank you @VinceMcMahon #AlwaysBlessedAndGrateful— Mickie James~Aldis (@MickieJames) April 15, 2021
