Marty "The Villain" Scurll is officially gone from Ring of Honor.

The promotion confirmed the news on social media that Scurll and ROH have mutually parted ways.

Back in the summer, the former ROH World Television Champion was accused of sexual assault back in 2015, with the 32-year-old stating that the sexual encounters were consensual. The company said officials would investigate the situation.

Scurll was eventually replaced by Hunter Johnson (aka Delirious) as the head booker of the company. Also, Scurll’s profile was pulled from the company website back in October. The former ROH World Television Champion wasn’t fired at the time, but Scurll’s return to the company was highly doubtful at that point.

Scrull made his ROH debut back in 2016 and managed to win the ROH World Television title on his third night with the company. Nearly one year later, Scurll was revealed as the new Bullet Club leader and “The Villain” would continue to enjoy success in NJPW, NWA, and ROH. While Scurll has never won the ROH World Heavyweight title, the former ROH star was still one of the top acts of company.

At the moment, there’s no word on what the future lies with the former ROH World Television Champion. According to the Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE is highly interested in “The Villain”, along with the New Japan Pro Wrestling. On the other hand, AEW is reportedly not too interested in signing the former Bullet Club member.
