A Flyweight Bout Between Su Mudaerji And Malcolm Gordon Is Added To The UFC Show On November 28

Su Mudaerji looks to continue building up momentum following his first UFC win over Andre Soukhamthath as the flyweight will take on Malcolm Gordon at the UFC show on Nov. 28. Check out the stats for both men.

A new flyweight bout has been set for November 28 as Malcolm Gordon will be making his return to take on Su Mudaerji.

Gordon made his debut for the promotion back in July, but failed to beat Amir Albazi at UFC Fight Night 172. This loss snapped a four-fight winning streak that the flyweight had coming in, which was gained during his time in TKO Major League MMA, Warfare Xtreme Cagefighting, Prodigy MMA, and Bellator MMA. His professional record is 12 wins and 4 losses.

Mudaerji is coming off his first UFC win over Andre Soukhamthath at UFC Fight Night 157. Thus far, the flyweight only had two bouts in the promotion; however, the 30-year-old’s name came in hot thanks to his tenure in Wu Lin Feng. Overall, Mudaerji’s professional record stands at 12 wins and 4 losses.

Check out the updated line-for the Nov. 28 UFC Fight Night show:

Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis

Norma Dumont vs. Ashlee Evans-Smith

Josh Parisian vs. Parker Porter

Gina Mazany vs. Rachael Ostovich

Martin Day vs. Anderson dos Santos

Raulian Paiva Vs. Amire Albazi Has Been Pulled From The UFC FIGHT NIGHT Event On October 31

A potentially exciting flyweight bout will no longer take place as Raulian Paiva vs. Amire Albazi is officially off the UFC Fight Night card on October 31. Find out why the flyweight was pulled from the event.

Another fighter has been forced to pull out of their scheduled bout.

Raulian Paiva was originally slated to square off against Amire Albazi at the UFC Fight Night event on Oct. 31; however, the flyweight has been pulled from the upcoming bout due to suffering an ACL injury in his right knee. The injury report comes from Combate, with MMA Fighting confirming Paiva’s withdrawal from the flyweight bout.

Paiva will need surgery and the expected recovery time is reportedly four-to-six months. At the moment, there’s no word on whether Albazi will remain on the fight night card, though officials are reportedly seeking out a replacement for the flyweight.

Paiva was hoping to extend his winning streak as the flyweight is coming off impressive wins over Mark De La Rosa (via KO at UFC Fight Night 167) and Zhalgas Zhumagulov (via unanimous decision at UFC 251). Should Albazi remain on the card, then the fighter is also coming in with a solid winning streak following his submission victories over Ryan Curtis (via submission at Brave CF 29) and Malcolm Gordon (via submission at UFC Fight Night 172).

This would’ve been Gall’s second appearance inside of the octagon in 2020 as the bantamweight fought Mike Perry back in June. The New Jersey native was looking to get back into the win column as he lost the bout via unanimous decision.

As for Baeza, he’ll remain on the fight night card as UFC officials are currently searching for a replacement, though there’s no word on who may step in to replace Gall. This Saturday’s UFC Vegas 11 event will see former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington clash in the main event. Donald Cerrone is set to make his third appearance in 2020 to take on Niko Price.

UFC Vegas 10 ended with a strong main event between Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill. Hill started off quick in the first round by landing several strong punches and countered nearly every striking move Waterson made. The latter attempted some takedowns; however, Hill successfully defended them as well. This wasn’t a lopsided round for Hill as Waterson put up a good fight, but it was clear who the victor was in the first round.

In the second round, Waterson stepped up the aggression and the fight from then on was even between both strawweights. In the end, Waterson snapped her losing streak and won via split decision.

In the co-main event, Ottman Azaitar put a quick end to Khama Worthy as the lightweight dominated from the early goings and won via TKO at the 1:33 mark. The lightweight remains undefeated with 13 wins.

The strawweight main event between Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill received the “best fight” honors, with Kevin Croom and Ottman Azaitar earning “Performance of the Night” for their quick finishes. Check out the full results below:

Possible Plans For Sasha Banks Vs. Bayley Feud Revealed - Will They Clash At HELL IN A CELL?

We haven't seen Sasha Banks since Bayley viciously attacked her former friend and tag team partner a couple of weeks ago, but we may now have some idea of WWE's plans for their feud upon The Boss' return.

Could we see Sasha Banks and Bayley do battle inside Hell in a Cell?

The Boss has been out of action ever since her former friend and tag team partner brutally attacked her when they failed to regain the Women's Tag Team Championships a couple of weeks back, with Bayley adding insult to injury during a scathing promo this past Friday on SmackDown.

Fox teased Banks' return for this coming Friday's episode of the blue brand, which means we may see some kind of confrontation at Clash of Champions in two weeks, but it sounds like their feud is going to extent until at least the Hell in a Cell PPV next month.

WWE recently moved Hell in a Cell forward from November 1st to October 25th, and The Wrestling Observer reckons we will see Bayley and Sasha Banks face-off at the event. Whether they'll actually compete inside the cell itself remains to be seen, but this has the potential to be one of the most heated rivalries we've seen in quite a while, so WWE would be smart to allow their feud to culminate with a big stipulation/gimmick match like this.

There's a good chance Banks will return on SmackDown this Friday, so hopefully we'll have a bit more to go on after her inevitable face-off with Bayley.

More Light Has Been Shed On IMPACT WRESTLING Firing Tessa Blanchard

This past summer, Impact Wrestling stripped the third-generation star of her world title and fired Tessa Blanchard shortly after. Get more details surrounding Impact's decision to release their top star.

A couple of weeks before Slammiversary, Impact Wrestling stripped Tessa Blanchard of The World Title and fired the third-generation star. The news of Blanchard exiting the company was no surprise as the 25-year-old was never expected to stay once her contract ended on June 30; however, the circumstances surrounding Blanchard did shock many.

Further details have come to light regarding Impact’s decision to release Blanchard, as the company felt that the former world champion had a better deal at the time, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Officials tried to re-sign Blanchard to a new contract; however, she opted against inking a new deal with the promotion.

Since her release, WWE has reportedly sent out feelers to Blanchard, though there’s no word on whether the two sides have officially talked yet. Blanchard did make her in-ring return at the Warrior Wrestling event this past weekend and dropped the WW Women's Championship to Kylie Rae.

Miro Explains Why He Turned Down The Opportunity To Go To IMPACT WRESTLING

The former WWE United States Champion reveals that he received an offer from Impact Wrestling; however, he decided against going over to the promotion. Check out Miro's statement on turning down Impact.

Back in June, Impact Wrestling teased several former WWE stars for their annual Slammiversary pay-per-view.

The promo showcased Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, Mike and Maria Kanellis, Eric Young, EC3, Drake Maverick and a Bulgarian flag, which represented former WWE United States Champion Miro. The Good Brothers, Young, and EC3 ended up making their return to the promotion, with Drake Maverick being signed back to the black-and-gold brand and Miro going over to All Elite Wrestling last week.

So, why did the new AEW star turn down an offer to join Impact Wrestling?

Well, it appears that Miro simply had no interest in joining the promotion. During his latest Twitch stream, the 34-year-old revealed that he was offered a contract to sign with Impact Wrestling; however, he opted against joining the company:

“It had nothing to do with COVID. I just didn’t want to go to Impact. They were very kind, they reached out. I just needed some time.”

During today's Twitch stream, Miro said the following about not going to Impact Wrestling:

According to WrestleNews.com, the company made it a priority to sign the former WWE superstar as Impact officials reportedly offered him a six-figure deal for far less dates than when he was working for WWE. He was also guaranteed a run as Impact World Champion. As fans saw last week, Miro chose AEW; however, the former WWE superstar may change his tune in a year as he reportedly has a one-year contract with the company.

WWE Confirms That Mandy Rose Has Been Traded Over To Monday Night RAW

This past weekend, it was confirmed that Mandy Rose and Otis was no more as WWE announced that the Smackdown superstar has been moved over to the flagship brand. Get more details on Rose moving over to RAW.

Mandy Rose is now a member of the Raw brand.

This past weekend, The Miz joined the set of Talking Smack and revealed that he influenced Rose's trade over to the flagship brand. The former WWE Champion felt that he was doing Money in the Bank Winner Otis a favor as Rose was a distraction towards him becoming WWE Universal Champion.

For the past several weeks, Miz and Morrison have been trying to steal away the briefcase from Otis, though the former WWE Tag Team Champions have failed thus far. As of this writing, there’s no reason why the company opted to trade Mandy over to the red brand.

Rose did react to The Miz sending her over to the Monday night show:

pic.twitter.com/4DsgmZd5KQ

There’s no word on whether Rose will make her debut for Raw tonight. The upcoming episode is a loaded show featuring a champion vs. champion match, a RAW Women’s Title match, and Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee in a non-title bout.

Here's An Update On Ivar's Injury Status Following Rope Dive Mishap Last Week On RAW

Although WWE hasn't shared an official update on the status of The Viking Raiders' Ivar after he stayed down following a rope dive last week on Raw, we do have some new details on his injury...

We have an update on the status of The Viking Raiders' Ivar after he suffered an injury during a six-man tag team match last week on Raw.

Ivar dived through the ropes to take down members of The Hurt Business on the outside, and although he appeared to land safely enough, he threw up the "X" sign (an indication that a legit injury has occurred and assistance is needed) almost immediately. WWE later revealed that Ivar sustained some kind of "cervical injury" as a result of the dive, but didn't share any specifics.

Now, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Ivar's injury occurred as a result of his head colliding with Bobby Lashley's shoulder, and he may have also done some damage to his neck. Apparently, WWE has yet to determine if the Viking Raider will require surgery, but he does have a history of neck issues, so there's a chance he could be out of action for quite a while regardless.

If he does end up on the shelf for an extended period of time, it would obviously be a huge blow to the red brand's already sparse tag team division.

We should get official word on Ivar's status later tonight on Raw, so stay tuned for updates.

Eddie Kingston Reveals Why His Mom Convinced Him To Pick ALL ELITE WRESTLING Over WWE

Eddie Kingston has been making a huge impact in All Elite Wrestling since he signed with the company, but what did his mom say that convinced him not to head to WWE instead? Find out more details here...

On this week's edition of "AEW Unrestricted," hosts Aubrey Edwards and Tony Schiavone sat down with All Elite Wrestling star Eddie Kingston. Among the topics covered were why he decided to sign AEW, even though there was an offer on the table from WWE.

Asked what led to him making that decision, Kingston admitted that it was his mom who talked him out of going to WWE. "My mom. My mom told me. I’m a mama’s boy in the sense that what she says goes," he explains. "Her opinion holds a lot of weight with me to the point where I’ve been with girls I thought I was in love with and my mother will be like, ‘I don’t think she is good’ and I would break up with them. It’s just the way it is. My mother knows me better than anybody."

"I was contacted by WWE and it was humbling," Kingston continued. "It was nice that they contacted me. I was trying to think where I should go. My mom said, look, ‘you won’t be happy in WWE. I know you and you won’t be happy. You will probably get fired three weeks in.’ I was like, ‘well, then I’m going to AEW’ and she said ‘good.’ She was the deciding factor. There were a lot of things going for AEW, but she was the deciding factor."

While we're not sure WWE would have fired Kingston after three weeks, it's hard to imagine him getting much of a push, and he likely would have been stuck in NXT for a good while before moving to the main roster (by which point he probably wouldn't want to go).

Do you think he made the right choice taking his mom's advice?

Samoa Joe hasn't had much luck on WWE's main roster, and he's now serving as part of the RAW commentary team. While his in-ring future is uncertain, Chris Jericho would love to see him make the leap to AEW...

Former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is now All Elite Wrestling's "Demo God" and one of the company's top stars, and he's never shied away from revealing which of his former colleagues he would love to see join him on Dynamite.

During the latest edition of his Saturday Night Special YouTube show, Jericho named Samoa Joe as someone he would love to make the jump to WWE. "I don’t know if Joe is hurt right now or if he’s not feeling good, but I’ll tell you what man, he is just an amazing wrestler," Le Champion said. "He’s a great talker and just a hell of a guy as well, I would love to have him in AEW."

"I don’t know if he wants to go. He might be hurt and he’s a great commentator so if he’s going to come to AEW and steal my possible commentating job then forget that."

Samoa Joe suffered a series of concussions before the decision was made to move him to the RAW commentary team, and there's been no indication that he plans to step back in the ring. He's suffered a series of unfortunate injuries since arriving on the main roster, and that's probably why we haven't seen him pushed as a top star.

Tonight's episode of Raw is shaping up to be an eventful one as we head towards Clash of Champions, with Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee the latest match to be added to the card. Find out what else to expect...

WWE has released a full preview of tonight's "In Your Face" episode of Raw, and there are certainly some (potentially) exciting matches to look forward to.

The latest addition to the lineup will see WWE Champion Drew McIntyre go one-on-one with his good friend Keith Lee in a non-title match. Drew seemingly took his Clash of Champions challenger Randy Orton out with a trio of Claymores last week, but something tells us The Viper will be waiting to strike during this bout.

Plus, Mickie James will face Asuka with the Raw Women's Championship on the line. James has had a number of opportunities to regain the title since returning to the company, and while we don't see her taking the gold away from the Empress of Tomorrow here, it should be a great match.

We will also see SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura go up against Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits in a Champions vs. Champions Match, and Dominik Mysterio battle Seth Rollins in a steel cage.

Tell us, do you plan on tuning into Raw tonight? If so, how do you see these matches playing out? Let us know in the comments.

Roman Reigns' heel turn is generating a huge amount of excitement online, and has seemingly helped turn around SmackDown's ratings woes. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has weighed in on his new persona...

When Roman Reigns made his return to WWE, he did so with a new, heel persona. Fans have been desperate to see that become a reality for a while now, and The Big Dog's partnership with Paul Heyman is generating a lot of buzz online and even helping turn around SmackDown's ratings if this past Friday's episode was any indication.

During a recent Q&A with fans on social media, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was asked to share his thoughts on Reigns' heel turn, and he had nothing but good things to say about the Universal Champion and his newfound persona.

"Roman should have turned heel years ago," he started. "I think he will be a bigger babyface AFTER his heel run. Roman is as solid of a franchise talent as anyone. He’s the man."

It's hard to disagree with Angle's assessment, as fans are loving Reigns as a heel, and his eventual - and inevitable - babyface turn is bound to be a hit providing its handled the right way. That's not something WWE should rush, though, and we're hoping that it lasts for some time (and not until Brock Lesnar makes his eventual return).

What do you guys think about The Big Dog's heel turn?

Last week's episode of All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite - which dealt with the fallout from the All Out PPV - was superb, but it was something of a blow to the company when announcers had to tell viewers to keep checking social media for details on when this week's instalment will air.

That's not their fault, of course, as the NBA Playoffs meant the show would either remain on Wednesday as planned or be shifted to the following day. Now, hot off the news that Dynamite drew over 1 million viewers, it's been confirmed that the show will air as planned at 8pm this Wednesday.

Hopefully, this news reaches fans because NXT is returning to Wednesday nights, and it would be a real blow to AEW if Dynamite were to suddenly suffer from a massive drop in viewership.

It's going to be a packed show too, as the following has been confirmed for Dynamite this week:

- Santana and Ortiz vs. Best Friends in a Parking Lot Fight
- Chris Jericho and Jake Hager vs. Private Party
- NWA Women’s Championship Match: Thunder Rosa vs. Ivelisse
- FTR vs. Jurassic Express
- Hangman Page vs. Frankie Kazarian
- MJF in action
- Jon Moxley and Lance Archer will both hype up their upcoming All Elite Wrestling World Championship match

Chris Jericho Believes WWE Will Regret Letting Rusev/Miro Jump Ship To ALL ELITE WRESTLING

All Elite Wrestling star Chris Jericho has opened up about the surprise debut of Miro on last Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, revealing who came up with that "brass ring" line and plans for him moving forward.

During the latest edition of his Saturday Night Special YouTube series, Chris Jericho shared his thoughts on the surprise debut of Miro (Rusev in WWE) during Wednesday night's All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite. The Demo God believes Miro is someone who can bring a lot to the company, and it sounds like this has been in the works for a while now.

"I think it’s great to have him, we had discussed having Miro come in a few months earlier when he was released," Jericho revealed. "The only thing all of us were thinking was, ‘We just have to think of a spot for him.’ We need to find a place where you’re not just going to bring him in and have him hanging around, you don’t want that. I think it’s perfect, 'The Best Man' thing, it’s not just a one-shot deal, it’s a gimmick. He’s 'The Best Man,' he’s the best man at everything it’ll almost be like a Mr. Perfect thing."

That definitely sounds like a cool and unexpected direction to take Miro in, and Jericho later confirmed that he was responsible for coming up with the line about his former employers shoving that brass ring.

"He couldn’t believe he’d be allowed to say it," Le Champion reflected. "He’s like, ‘Really? Can I say it?’ I’m like, yeah, you can say whatever you want here.’ No problems here, baby!" Jericho concluded by saying, "I’ve always been a fan of his and I think he’s another guy for some reason, whatever reason, kind of fell through the cracks there that they’re going to regret letting go. We got him and we’re excited."

Time will tell what becomes of Miro in AEW, but the future is definitely looking brighter for him than it did when he was part of WWE!

Roman Reigns Shows Up And Wins SMACKDOWN Main Event After Jey Uso Does All The Work

Roman Reigns teamed up with Clash of Champions challenger Jey Uso to take on Sheamus and Baron Corbin in the main event of SmackDown this week, and The Big Dog certainly lived up to his new t-shirt...

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman kicked off this week's episode of SmackDown by welcoming The Big Dog's challenger for the Universal Championship at Clash of Champions, Jey Uso, to the ring. Roman seemed genuinely happy for his cousin... even though he did promise to kick his ass "just like when they were kids."

This brought out King Corbin and Sheamus, and the inevitable tag team match was set for the main event.

Reigns didn't actually start the match with his partner, and only showed up once Jey had done all of the work, hitting the Celtic Warrior with a spear to win the bout for his team. This is similar to what we saw when he won the title at Payback, and may well be part of his new gimmick (why the ref is starting these matches without all of the competitors present is anyone's guess).

Reigns seems somewhat irritated by Uso, but he hasn't turned on his cousin... yet. We may not see that happen until the actual match at Clash of Champions, but if WWE wants to put some real heat on the Big Dog, they'll have him spear Jey out of his boots next Friday.

The Firefly Fun House Gets A New Member On SMACKDOWN: A Paul Heyman Parody Named Wobbly Walrus!

Bray Wyatt promised to introduce a new "friend" to the Firefly Fun House this week on SmackDown, and while things didn't go quite as he'd planned, a new puppet did indeed join the craziness...

"It's such good shit pal!"

Bray Wyatt welcomed us into the Firefly Fun House for a brand new episode this week on SmackDown, and while the parrot he had hoped to introduce ended up dead (he forgot to poke holes in his carrier), a new puppet did end up joining Huskus, Ramblin', Mercy and the others.

The Boss (Vince McMahon's parody puppet) turned up and scolded Bray for failing to get the Fun House in order, introducing a new "special adviser" to help him manage the place: Wobby Walrus!

Wobbly is clearly supposed to be Paul Heyman, and between this and the horned McMahon take-off, we're wondering how Wyatt - who reportedly comes up with all this stuff himself - is able to get away with it. Maybe Vince has a better sense of humor than we've been led to believe?

Fans were hoping this new "friend" would be Alexa Bliss, but there are clearly plans in place for some kind of angle there (Bliss hit Nikki Cross with Sister Abigail during their match), so watch this space.
