Eddie Edwards is your new Impact World Champion!

The main event was full of surprises as former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young and Rich Swann were officially added to the match-up. The elimination bout started off fast and chaotic as all the competitors brawled throughout the building.

Early on, Madman Fulton was ejected from ringside after giving Eddie Edwards a chokeslam onto the apron. Austin appeared to be the first man eliminated after Edwards nailed a Tiger Driver; however, Miguel broke up the pin for some reason. The Rascalz member was eliminated a short time later thanks to a piledriver from Eric Young around the ten-minute mark.

About six minutes later, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion tried the same move on Rich Swann; however, the Baltimore native countered into a roll-up and successfully got the three count. Young wasn’t happy with his elimination and the returning Impact star violently attacked Swann with a steel chair to his bad knee.

Young was eventually escorted out of the ring, but Austin tried to take advantage of a weaken Swann. The former X-Division Champion fought back and also got a three count on Austin; however, the 23-year-old hit him with The Fold and got the three count around the 19-minute mark.

It all came down to Eddie Edwards and Ace Austin hitting their signature moves on one another; however, neither man could get a three count. Austin finally connected with The Fold, but Edwards kicked out for a strong two count. Eddie then connected with a Boston Knee Party and Die Hard Flowsion for the victory.

After three years long years, Eddie Edwards has finally won the Impact World Championship!
