John Cena kicked off last night's episode of SmackDown with another huge reaction and wasted no time in reiterating his desire to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. Asking fans whose team they're on, "Cena!" chants erupted throughout the building, but despite repeatedly calling out Reigns, the Head of the Table didn't appear.
Instead, Paul Heyman came out to make it clear that Cena isn't worthy of being listened to by Reigns, but promised that the Leader of the Cenation would get an answer later that night.
As promised, Reigns came out to address Cena's challenge, mocking him and making it clear that he has no interest in putting the title on the line against him at next month's PPV. With that, Finn Balor's music hit and The Prince issued a challenge of his own. The Big Dog accepted, and it looks like those two will now square off at SummerSlam!
Could we be getting a Triple Threat match? Is a swerve in store? Only time will tell.
