The December 4, 2024 edition of All Elite Wrestling's flagship show AEW Dynamite emanated from the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.
For those who missed it, here is a breakdown of the most noteworthy highlights of the show, as well as all the winners to the matches that went down.
— AEW Continental Classic Blue League Match: Kyle Fletcher defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall.
— Hook went to the ring for a promo, calling out Christian Cage for the Hammerstein Ballroom and wanting to fight Nick Wayne right now. The Patriarchy jumped Hook from behind and injured him with a Con-Chair-To.
— Mercedes Mone was interviewed by Renee Paquette about Kamille. Mone badmouthed her and belittled Anna Jay, saying she would be watching her match with Penelope Ford scheduled for later in the show.
— Backstage, The Hurt Syndicate attacked a stage hand and security out of anger over Shelton Benjamin's loss, as MVP was disappointed in Benjamin and they (and Bobby Lashley) needed to showcase how they hurt people.
— 2024 Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale: Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly outlasted the others (including Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Rocky Romero, Mark Davis, Evil Uno, Lio Rush, The Butcher, Dante Martin, Darius Martin and Action Andretti). It was announced that Cole and O'Reilly will face each other next week on AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming. The winner of that match will face MJF at AEW Worlds End for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Later, MJF was shown at a bar, where he cut a promo on how Cole can't beat O'Reilly and blamed The Death Riders taking over on how he lost the AEW World Championship.
— Another vignette showed Julia Hart shooting an arrow in reference to Jamie Hayter, as she's upset over how big of a return she got at Wembley Stadium. Later, Hayter cut a promo to the camera about Hart and how important it is for her to enter the four-way at Wrestle Dynasty.
— Swerve Strickland defeated Max Caster by pinfall
— Jay White defeated PAC by pinfall. After the match, chaos ensued, ultimately ending with White, "Hangman" Adam Page, and Orange Cassidy working together to take out Jon Moxley.
— Chris Jericho had a backstage promo he dubbed a New York Minute. He plugged some of the upcoming AEW programming and mentioned that on tomorrow's episode of Ring of Honor, it will be revealed who his opponent will be for ROH Final Battle at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
— A vignette aired hyping the pending return of Bandido.
— Anna Jay defeated Penelope Ford by pinfall. After the match, Anna Jay got a microphone and called out Mercedes Mone. The CEO came out and they shared a few words, trash talking each other. Jay eventually struck Mone to shut her up. They will face off for the TBS Championship in two weeks on AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash.
— Mariah May was interviewed by Renee Paquette about giving Mina Shirakawa a title match. May trashed the women's division in AEW. Shirakawa showed up with a bottle of champagne, telling May to "do it to her face" and to "make her work" next week.
— AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Claudio Castagnoli defeated Brody King by pinfall
