Earlier today, AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes conducted a media conference call.

One of the most noteworthy comments that the 33-year-old made was about who the most underrated talent in the promotion is at the moment. The name that Cody Rhodes stated was Jack Evans, who’s currently teaming with Angelico as The Hybrid 2.

While the duo are nothing more than enhancement talent in the company, both men are very accomplished wrestlers in their own right. Evans has been in the business since 2000 and worked in several major companies such as TNA/Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Lucha Underground, and Lucha Libre AAA World Wide.

The 37-year-old is a former AAA World Tag Team Champion with Angelico, AAA Cruiserweight Champion, Lucha Underground Trios Champion, AWA Washington Heavyweight Champion, and PWG World Tag Team Champion. With Cody name dropping Evans, hopefully these two talented performers get a better opportunity within the promotion soon.
