The CM Punk/AEW saga continues, and it sounds like both parties may have run into another issue ahead of the former champ's (tentative) return to the company.

Earlier today, TNT officially announced that AEW Collision will premiere next month, but there was no mention of Punk, who had been heavily rumored (if not quite confirmed) to headline the new show.

Later on, TNT released a statement claiming that Punk was "not affiliated" with the promotion.

So what the hell happened?

Well, PW Insider is reporting that Punk and AEW are "at odds" because of Ace Steel (the dude who allegedly bit Kenny Omega during the infamous All Out scrum scuffle), who was reportedly hired to be a part of Collision. Apparently, something went pear-shaped, and it sounds like Punk may have kicked up a fuss.

Bryan Alvarez was the source, and Punk sent out the following response.
