This week's episode of AEW Dynamite was a bit of a mixed bag, but the main event was an absolute corker.
Making his in-ring debut, MJF's right-hand man Wardlow went one-on-one with Cody in a steel cage, and while Mister Mayhem did assert his physicality and dominate much of the match, The American Nightmare prevailed.
After being busted open by being repeatedly thrown into the side of the structure, Cody got a second wind and went low (Wardlow did it first!) before hitting a Cross Rhodes. His opponent kicked out, but a gorgeous moonsalt from the top of the cage kept him down for the 3-count.
Now, the road is clear for Cody to face MJF at the Revolution pay-per-view, and we cannot wait to see that match.
