WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam made his All Elite Wrestling debut last Wednesday and wasted no time in confronting FTW Champion "Jungle" Jack Perry on behalf of his friend Jerry Lynn.
The ECW legend set out to teach Perry a lesson during this week's AEW Dynamite, but he was ultimately unable to overcome the wily heel.
In a thrilling back-and-forth bout, Perry put the FTW title on the line first the first time since winning it at Blood and Guts. While RVD put the champion through a table and delivered a well-deserved beatdown, the referee wasn't there when it mattered to count the 1-2-3
Taking advantage of the chaos, Perry sent RVD into a steel chair in the corner and ultimately stole the ring with a rollup. Now, we can't help but wonder whether these two might once again square off at some point before or even during this month's All In PPV in London's Wembley Stadium.
