Jeff Cobb Loses To Jon Moxley In His Debut Match On AEW DYNAMITE

Jeff Cobb made his AEW in-ring debut last night during Dynamite, and the match was... not great.

The current Ring of Honor star is an absolute beast and an amazing athlete, but he wasn't really given a chance to shine here. Jon Moxley can mix it up with the best of them, of course, but he favors a more brawling style these days and they just didn't seem to gel.

At any rate, after a short back-and-forth encounter, Mox was able to roll his opponent up for the surprise win. Chris Jericho and the rest of the Inner Circle then rushed the ring and commenced the beat-down, before Dustin Rhodes and the returning Darby Allin made the save.

Beating Moxley so close to his championship match with Jericho at Revolution wouldn't have made sense, but there had to be a better way to finish this match while still getting Cobb over.
