Matt Hardy Debuts On AEW DYNAMITE As The Elite's Fifth Member For BLOOD AND GUTS

We didn't think we'd see this after Brodie Lee debuted earlier in the night, but after the main event of AEW Dynamite, Matt Hardy was introduced as The Elite's fifth member for the Blood and Guts match.

Matt Hardy is officially a member of the All Elite Wrestling roster, and he's "Broken" once again.

The Inner's Circle managed to defeat The Elite in the main event of Dynamite, securing the advantage going into the Blood and Guts cage match that was scheduled for next week (we still have no updates on a new date or location), and Chris Jericho seized the opportunity to gloat on the ramp about taking out Matt Jackson last week and leaving The Elite a man short.

However, Nick Jackson then revealed that he'd called in a favor as a very familiar drone known as VANGUARD-1 flew down to the ring, and that eerie piano music signaled the arrival of Matt Hardy in the rafters. The Broken One repeatedly made the delete sign while Jericho looked on as if he'd seen a ghost.

It remains to be seen how well Hardy's Broken gimmick will go down in AEW, but he will get more eyes on the product and that's all that matters.
