The December 11, 2024 edition of All Elite Wrestling's flagship show AEW Dynamite emanated from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
For those who missed it, here is a breakdown of the most noteworthy highlights of the show, as well as all the winners to the matches that went down.
— Tag Team Match: Death Riders (Jon Moxley & PAC) vs Orange Cassidy & Jay White was basically thrown out or ruled a disqualification (no official announcement was made) due to interference from "Hangman" Adam Page going after Moxley. This resulted in a brawl where Cassidy, White, and Page fought with each other instead of being a united front against Death Riders, who managed to pick them off. Later in the show, Moxley cut a promo backstage where he challenged all three of them to a match for his title at AEW Worlds End.
— Another vignette promo hyped the return of Bandido.
— Christian Cage was in the crowd where he cut a promo about how he could use his title shot to walk out of AEW Worlds End with the AEW World Championship. He was attacked by HOOK until Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne helped him escape.
— AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Will Ospreay defeated Claudio Castagnoli by pinfall. Darby Allin came out with a bat after the match to run Castagnoli off before he could attack Ospreay with a steel chair, as he was planning to do.
— Ricochet was interviewed by Renee Paquette to hype his upcoming match against Brody King.
— MJF was shown arriving to the building.
— Matt Cardona was interviewed about his upcoming ROH World Championship match against Chris Jericho at ROH Final Battle.
— Adam Cole defeated Kyle O'Reilly by pinfall to earn a match against MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring at AEW Worlds End. O'Reilly didn't shake Cole's hand after the match, as he's still mad at Cole and the others for what happened to Roderick Strong at Full Gear. MJF had tried to interfere in the match to cost Cole, but was unsuccessful.
— FTR said in a backstage promo segment that they don't have a problem with Death Riders unless they have a problem with FTR. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood want to meet them in the ring during this Saturday's Collision and are hoping to be involved in Fight for the Fallen on January 1st.
— Chris Jericho badmouthed Matt Cardona in another New York Minute promo.
— Tony Schiavone sat down with Darby Allin, who said he's bothered by nobody stepping up to take out Death Riders.
— AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match: Ricochet defeated Brody King by pinfall.
— Private Party set up a match between Dante Martin & Darius Martin against Action Andretti and Lio Rush to determine who gets the next shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
— Renee Paquette mediated a face-to-face between Mercedes Mone and Anna Jay about their upcoming title match at AEW Holiday Bash.
— Mariah May retained the AEW Women's World Championship over Mina Shirakawa by pinfall. After the match, Toni Storm returned, back to her previous gimmick before the "Timeless" character. Thunder Rosa was shown ringside holding up different signs during the match.
