The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for January 25, 2021 took place from inside the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— The show started with a promo from Drew McIntyre that was interrupted by The Miz and John Morrison, as well as Goldberg. McIntyre and Goldberg took out Miz and Morrison and stared each other down.
— Charlotte Flair vs Shayna Baszler quickly ended in a disqualification due to interference by Nia Jax. After the match, several other superstars came out to fight and it led to an six-woman tag team match, instead. Charlotte Flair, Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose defeated Lacey Evans, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler by count out. Then, the match was restarted again after the commercial break. This time, Jax pinned Brooke to win the match for her team.
— Xavier Woods defeated Slapjack by pinfall. RETRIBUTION beat Woods down after the match.
— The Hurt Business presented MVP with a 24k gold necklace during a VIP Lounge segment. R-Truth thought it was a delayed surprise birthday party for him. Riddle used the chaos of superstars coming out gunning for the 24/7 title to nail MVP with a knee to the face.
— Sheamus beat John Morrison by pinfall. He then lost to both The Miz and John Morrison in a handicap match by pinfall.
— AJ Styles defeated R-Truth by submission.
— Gauntlet Match: Riddle beat The Hurt Business (first Shelton Benjamin, then MVP, then Cedric Alexander) to earn a shot at the United States Championship.
