Another featherweight bout is confirmed for UFC 250 as Chase Hooper will take on Alex Caceres at the pay-per-view event.
Hooper was successful in his debut at UFC 245, beating fellow featherweight Daniel Teymur via TKO. Despite only being 20-years-old, Hooper has amassed a strong record within MMA that resulted in the UFC signing the young star in 2019. Hooper built his name in Titan Fighting Championship, Square Ring Promotions, and Dominate Fighting Championship, with the featherweight also being an alumni of Dana White’s Contender Series. Hooper’s professional record currently stands at 9 wins, no losses, and 1 no contest.
A veteran within the UFC, Caceres is hoping to build up more momentum after getting a unanimous decision win over Steven Peterson at UFC on ESPN 4. The featherweight’s record in his last five fights is a mixed bag, with Caceres also beating Martín Bravo (via split decision at The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated Finale) and Rolando Dy (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 111). Caceres’ professional record currently stands at 15 wins, 12 losses, and 1 no contest.
