A new featherweight bout has been added to the fight night card on September 26 as Mirsad Bektic and Eduardo Garagorri will face each other at the upcoming event.

Bektic is in need of a win as the featherweight is coming off two consecutive losses against Dan Ige (via spilt decision at UFC 247) and Josh Emmett (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 155). Bektic does own two wins in his last five fights, dropping Godofredo Pepey (via TKO at UFC on Fox 27) and Ricardo Lamas (via split decision at UFC 225). His professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 3 losses.

Garagorri is also hoping to bounce back after suffering his first professional loss against Ricardo Ramos at UFC Fight Night 164. The recent loss snapped a strong 13-fight winning streak that saw the featherweight beat top names in UDC Internacional and Fronteira Fight. Garagorri’s professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 1 loss.

The promotion has yet to announce which bout will headline the card at the UFC Apex. Check out the advertised line-up thus far:

Ketlen Vieira vs. Marion Reneau

Claudia Gadelha vs. Yan Xiaonan

Randy Costa vs. Journey Newson

Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Sarah Alpar

Kai Kara-France vs. Brandon Royval
