A heavyweight bout between Greg Hardy and Khalil Rountree Jr. has been set for UFC 252 on August 15.

Rountree will be making his transition over to the heavyweight division with the fighter looking to get back into the win column after suffering a loss to Ion Cuțelaba at UFC Fight Night 160. Rountree has beaten Gökhan Saki (via TKO at UFC 226) and Eryk Anders (via unanimous decision at UFC 236) in his last five fights, with his overall professional record standing at 8 wins, 4 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC 252 takes place on Saturday, August 15 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight title as the main event. The placement of heavyweight bout between Hardy and Rountree has yet to be determined.
