A new heavyweight bout has been confirmed for the upcoming UFC Fight Night show on October 10 as Tom Aspinall will step into the octagon against Serghei Spivac.
Aspinall is coming off a strong TKO win over Jake Collier at UFC on ESPN 14. That victory extended his three-fight winning streak that the heavyweight had coming in, beating Kamil Bazelak, Sofiane Boukichou, and Michael Ben Hamouda before his UFC debut in July. Aspinall’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 2 losses.
Spivac is fresh off his win over Carlos Felipe at UFC Fight Night 172. The heavyweight failed to beat Walt Harris in his debut at UFC Fight Night 151, but his other victory over Tai Tuivasa (via Technical submission at UFC 243) has managed to keep Spivac from falling far down the rankings. His professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 2 losses.
