A light heavyweight bout has been confirmed for UFC 255 as John Allan and Roman Dolidze will collide at the pay-per-view on November 21.
Allan is making his return to the octagon after serving a one-year doping suspension. Originally, the light heavyweight beat Mike Rodriguez in his UFC debut; however, the rulings was overturned to a no contest by the CSAC. Allan has managed to win three out of his last five bouts thanks to his time in Future Fighting Championships and Imortal Fight Championship. Currently, his professional record is 13 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.
Dolidze is coming off an impressive TKO win in his UFC debut against Khadis Ibragimov at UFC Fight Night 172, with the light heavyweight extending his winning streak to seven. Mainly a competitor for World Warriors Fighting Championship, the 31-year-old also got huge victories in his bouts against Amirali Joroev, Eder de Souza, and Michal Pasternak. Dolidze’s professional record currently stands at 7 wins and 0 losses.
UFC 255 will feature a flyweight championship bout between Deiveson Figueiredo and Cody Garbrandt, and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jennifer Maia for the UFC Women’s Flyweight title. The placement of the light heavyweight fight is currently unknown.
