A new lightweight bout is confirmed for the fight night event on July 18 as Davi Ramos will face Arman Tsarukyan.

Ramos was on a solid four-fight winning streak before suffering a devastating loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 242. Still, his impressive wins over Chris Gruetzemacher (via submission at UFC Fight Night 123), Nick Hein (via submission at UFC 224), John Gunther (via submission at UFC Fight Night 139) and Austin Hubbard (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 152) have made him an exciting prospect within the promotion. The lightweight’s professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 3 losses.

Tsarukyan hopes to continue building up momentum after his win over Olivier Aubin-Mercier at UFC 240. While the lightweight suffered a big loss to Islam Makhachev in his UFC debut, Tsarukyan has won four out of his last five fights. The Russia native made a name for himself in Gods of War World MMA Championship, League S-70, and Road Fighting Championship. Tsarukyan’s professional record currently stands at 14 wins and 2 losses.

The recently announced UFC Fight Night card is set for Saturday, July 18 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with no main event confirmed at this time. The placement of the lightweight bout is unknown at the moment.
