A middleweight bout has been added to the loaded UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik line-up as Darren Stewart will take on Maki Pitolo.
Stewart will be hoping to rebound after his loss to Bartosz Fabiński back in March. Before the crushing defeat, the middleweight was actually on a nice two-fight winning streak as Stewart dropped Bevon Lewis (via unanimous decision at UFC 238) and Deron Winn (via UFC on ESPN 6). Stewart’s record in his last five fights is a mixed bag with the 29-year-old winning only three of his bouts. Overall, Stewart’s professional record stands at 11 wins and 5 losses.
Pitolo managed to rebound from his UFC debut by getting a TKO win over Charles Byrd at UFC 250. Pitolo’s loss to Callan Potter actually snapped a solid three-fight winning streak that saw the middleweight pick up big wins over name talents in Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Bellator MMA. Pitolo’s professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 5 losses.
