Paige VanZant is set to make her return next year in Brazil, as the strawweight fighter will take on Amanda Ribas.

VanZant is hoping to continue building momentum after her impressive submission victory over Rachael Ostovich at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn. The 25-year-old struggled a bit prior to her strawweight match, as VanZant was on a two-fight losing streak. Currently, The Oregon native’s professional record stands at 8 wins and 4 losses.

Ribas is riding a strong three-fight winning streak, as the strawweight has defeated Mackenzie Dern, Emily Whitmire, and Jennifer Gonzalez Araneda. The Brazil native hasn’t lost a fight since late 2015. Ribas’ professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 1 loss.

The yet to be announced UFC event takes place on Saturday, March 14 from a location to be announced in Brazil with no main event announced at this time.
