A new lightweight bout has been rescheduled for the UFC Fight Night show on November 7 as Carlos Diego Ferreira will face Drew Dober. Originally, these two were set to square off at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City in May; however, the line-up was scrapped due to the coronavirus situation.
Ferreira is currently in the midst of a strong six-fight winning streak, with the lightweight coming off a big victory over former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 246. Since his debut in 2014, the Brazil native has only lost two out of his eight fights within the UFC. Ferreira’s professional record currently stands at 17 wins and 2 losses.
Dober comes into the contest on a solid three-fight winning streak, besting Alexander Hernandez, Marco Polo Reyes, and Nasrat Haqparast. Thus far, the lightweight has yet to beat a top name within the promotion; however, Dober has only lost one fight in his last six bouts. The Nebraska native’s professional record currently stands at 23 wins, 9 losses, and 1 no contest.
