A women’s flyweight bout has been confirmed for the UFC show on September 5 as Montana De La Rosa will take on Maryna Moroz at the event.

De La Rosa is looking to build momentum after securing a victory over Mara Romero Borella at UFC Fight Night 167. Despite her loss against Andrea Lee at UFC Fight Night 154, the flyweight has managed to win four out her last five fights, also beating Nadia Kassem (via submission at UFC 234), Rachael Ostovich (via submission at The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale), and Christina Marks (via submission at The Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale). De La Rosa’s professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 5 losses.

Moroz is currently in the midst a two-fight winning streak by dropping Sabina Mazo (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 2) and Mayra Bueno Silva (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 170). Overall, the flyweight has won three out of her last five fights, also beating Danielle Taylor (via split decision at UFC Fight Night 92). Moroz’s professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 3 losses.

The recently announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, September 5 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. The placement of the women’s flyweight bout is unknown at this time.
