One fight has been scrapped from next week’s event.

Originally, Aaron Philips was scheduled to take on Adrian Yanez at UFC Vegas 12; however, the former has been forced to pull out due to an undisclosed injury. Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA first reported the news.

Philips was looking to rebound after failing to beat Jack Shore in his UFC return back in July. That submission loss actually snapped a solid five-fight winning streak that the veteran got during his time in World Fighting Championships. There’s no word on how severe the injury is nor is there a timetable for Philips’ return.

Yanez is expected to remain on the fight night card as UFC officials are currently searching for an opponent for the bantamweight fighter, though it's currently unknown who could potentially step in to face the UFC star. Yanez will be making his UFC debut after his impressive performances on Dana White’s Contender Series. The UFC newcomer enters the bout on a four-fight winning streak.

UFC Vegas 12 takes place on Saturday, October 31 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Uriah Hall and Anderson Silva headlining. Check out the confirmed bouts for the upcoming fight night event:

Uriah Hall vs. Anderson Silva

Thiago Moises vs. Bobby Green

Kevin Natividad vs. Miles Johns

Bryce Mitchell vs. Andre Fili

Greg Hardy vs. Maurice Greene

Dustin Jacoby vs. Justin Ledet

Cortney Casey vs. Priscila Cachoeira
