Alex Pereira just shattered Magomed Ankalaev’s winning streak.

Pereira stunned fans by beating Ankalaev within eighty seconds! All it took was a variation of punches and elbows to put Magomed out with a TKO win. Pereira is now a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. There was no love loss from Pereira as he knew that he would beat Magomed.

"I told everyone I was not in a good condition last time. Nobody believed it. You saw it," Pereira said post-fight. "[Saturday's result] didn't surprise me. I saw that in the first fight. I don't like to make excuses, but I've been saying I wasn't well that night — but tonight, I'm very well."

Magomed lost his first fight in seven years. The co-main event was a different story.

Merab Dvalishvili didn’t have much trouble beating Cory Sandhagen in a rather one sided affair. For five rounds, Merab overwhelmed Sandhagen with his superior wrestling and striking that almost scored him a knockout in the second round. This wasn’t total dominance as Cory was able to keep the champion at bay in the first round, but Merab’s first takedown changed everything.
