A big heavyweight match-up has been added to UFC 254 as Alexander Volkov will take on Walt Harris at the pay-per-view.

Despite losing to Curtis Blaydes at UFC on ESPN 11, Volkov has managed to win four out of his last five fights. The heavyweight has beaten Greg Hardy at UFC Fight Night 163, along with Fabrício Werdum (via KO at UFC Fight Night 127), and Stefan Struve (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 115). Volkov’s professional record currently stands at 31 wins and 8 losses.

Walt Harris’ three-fight winning streak was snapped by Alistair Overeem back in May, which put the heavyweight back into the loss column for the first time in three years. Still, Harris has dropped Aleksei Oleinik (UFC on ESPN 4), Sergey Spivak (UFC Fight Night 151), and Daniel Spitz (UFC Fight Night 131) in his last five fights. His professional record currently stands at 13 wins, 7 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC 254 takes place on Saturday, October 24 from a location to be announced with Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje for the UFC Lightweight title headlining. The placement of the heavyweight bout is currently undetermined.
