A bantamweight bout is confirmed for the upcoming UFC 250 pay-per-view as Aljamain Sterling will take on Cory Sandhagen.
Sterling has drastically stepped his game up since losing to Marlon Moraes at UFC Fight Night 123 as the bantamweight is currently on a four-fight winning streak, beating Brett Johns (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 128), Cody Stamann (via submission at UFC 228), Jimmie Rivera (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 1), and Pedro Munhoz (via unanimous decision at UFC 238). Sterling’s professional record currently stands at 18 wins and 3 losses.
Since joining the UFC back early in 2018, Sandhagen has managed to maintain an undefeated record within the promotion by defeating Austin Arnett (via TKO at UFC on Fox 27) , Iuri Alcântara (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 135), Mario Bautista (via submission at UFC Fight Night 143), John Lineker (via split decision at UFC Fight Night 150), and Raphael Assunção (via unanimous decision at UFC 241). Sandhagen’s professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 1 loss.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer for the Women’s Featherweight title headlining the pay-per-view. Check out the advertised line-up thus far:
