A new middleweight contest has been set for UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Oleinik as Andrew Sanchez will face Wellington Turman.
Sanchez is coming off a loss against Marvin Vettori at UFC Fight Night 161. Prior to the devastating loss, the middleweight was on a solid two-fight winning streak by beating Markus Perez (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 135) and Marc-André Barriault (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 151). Overall, Sanchez has only won three out of his last five fights. His professional record currently stands at 11 wins 5 losses.
Since making his UFC debut in 2019, Turman has managed to win one out of his two fights in the promotion thus far, beating Markus Perez at UFC Fight Night 164. The middleweight made a name for himself by competing in Future Fighting Championships, Imortal Fight Championship, and Brave Combat Federation. Turman came into the promotion hot by being on a four-fight winning streak. His professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 3 losses.
