Angela Hill will step into the octagon for the fifth time in 2020 as the strawweight is set to fight Tecia Torres at UFC 256 on Dec. 12.
Angela Hill is coming off a two very close losses to Cláudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson. Before suffering defeat against those two top strawweights, Hill was on a strong three-fight winning streak that saw her beat Ariane Carnelossi (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 159), Hannah Cifers (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 166), and Loma Lookboonmee (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 168). Hill’s professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 9 losses.
Torres managed to rebound with a much-needed win over Brianna Van Buren at UFC Vegas 3. The win snapped a four-fight losing streak that saw the strawweight beaten by Jessica Andrade (via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 28), Joanna Jedrzejczyk (via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 30), Weili Zhang (via unanimous decision at UFC 235) and Marina Rodriguez (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 156). Torres’ professional record currently stands at 11 wins and 5 losses.
