Antonio Carlos Junior has been forced to withdraw from his bout with Elias Theodorou, again. The middleweight was set to clash against Theodorou at UFC 231 on Dec. 8 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but had to pull out of the fight, citing that the injury that canceled his first scheduled bout with Theodorou now requires surgery.

Carlos Junior and Theodorou were first scheduled to fight in September at UFC Sao Paulo, but the bout was pushed back to December due to an injury by Carlos Junior. There’s no word on whether Theodorou will have a replacement opponent set for him.
