The main event for UFC Qatar has been made official.

The UFC Fight Night show scheduled on November 22nd has two new bouts confirmed as Arman Tsarukyan vs. Dan Hooker and former UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad vs. Ian Machado Garry is scheduled for the upcoming card.

Arman Tsarukyan is coming off the biggest win of his career as he got a split decision victory over former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira. That win increased his streak to four and Tsarukyan has been undefeated for the past three years. Though the lightweight suffered a loss to Mateusz Gamrot that shattered an impressive five-fight winning streak, he has much more significant wins in the promotion. Arman is currently ranked as the number two fighter in the lightweight division. His professional record currently stands at 22 wins and 3 losses.

Hooker is also currently in the middle of a winning streak as the lightweight is coming off a huge win over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305. That turned his winning streak to three fights in a row, with Hooker managing to bounce back from his losses to Islam Makhachev and Arnold Allen that sent him down in the rankings. Currently, the veteran is number seven within the lightweight division. Dan Hooker’s professional record currently stands at 24 wins and 12 losses.

As previously stated, Belal Muhammad and Ian Machado Garry will join these two in the co-main event.

Muhammad is fresh off his loss to Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315. That shattered a 10-fight winning streak, but more importantly, it ended Muhammad’s run as the UFC Welterweight Champion. The former Champion shocked the masses when he beat Leon Edwards for the 170-pound belt at UFC 304 in decisive fashion, but Muhammad track record has him with more wins in his UFC career than most of the welterweights in his division. Muhammad is currently ranked at number one in the welterweight division and his professional record is 24 wins and 4 losses.

His opponent is coming off a much needed win after Shavkat Rakhmonov shattered an impressive winning streak. Garry was undefeated for five years and racked up fifteen wins before his unanimous decision loss at UFC 310. A win here will surely bump him in the rankings as the welterweight is currently ranked at number six. Garry’s professional record stands at 16 wins and 1 loss.
