Another bantamweight fight is reportedly in the books for UFC 250, according to MMA Junkieas the site reports that Kelten Viera will make her return to the octagon to take on Marion Reneau. At the moment, the fight hasn’t been confirmed in public by UFC officials.

After suffering her first loss against Irene Aldana at UFC 245, Viera is coming into the fight hoping to salvage the defeat. Prior to her loss, Viera had a solid win streak going by getting victories over names such as Cat Zingano, Sara McMann, and Ashlee Evans-Smith. Viera’s professional record currently stands at 10 wins and 1 loss.

Reneau is in need of a victory after dropping two consecutive bouts to Yana Kunitskaya and Cat Zingano. The Bantamweight’s last win was against Sara McMann back in Feb. 2018; Reneau was on a solid three-fight winning streak before it was broken by Zingano at UFC Boise. Reneau’s professional record stands at 9 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.

UFC 250 is scheduled for May 9 at Ginásio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will stream on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims likely on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass.
