"Don't rush girl," Shevchenko wrote. "If you want a title fight, first fight me."

"Bullet" added the hastag "don't blink" to end the tweet towards Paige VanZant on Thursday. However, VanZant responded stating that her next fight will be the winner of the 125 division of Ultimate Fighter. She restates Shevchenko's words, Don't blink.

While Valentina is currently registered as a bantamweight fighter, the #1 ranked fighter is planning to drop down to flyweight which is her more natural weight class. Valentina is coming off a very close split decision to Amandea Nunes in a bantamweight title fight at UFC 215. Before then, she trained and competed in kickboxing and Muay Thai closer to 125 pound flyweight limit. VanZant is a current strawweight with a record of 7-3-0; the fighter has vowed that her next fight will be at flyweight after heavy weight cuts at 115 pounds.

However, according to UFC president Dana White, VanZant will not be fighting for the newly UFC Flyweight tilte. The first champion in that divison will be crowned at The Ultimate Fighter Finale on December 1 in Las Vegas. The fighters have yet to be determined as the season is still on going; The quarterfinals of the title tournament will air this week and next.
