A welterweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night event on Dec. 19 as Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady will collide at the upcoming show. Both MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting have confirmed the reported match-up.
Muhammad enters the bout on a solid three-fight winning streak as the welterweight is coming off wins over Curtis Millender (via unanimous decision at UFC 236), Takashi Sato (via submission at UFC 242), and most recently, Lyman Good (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 11). Despite his loss to Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night 143, the 31-year-old has won four out of his last five fights, with three of the victories coming by unanimous decision. Muhammad’s professional record currently stands at 17 wins and 3 losses.
Brady hopes to continuing racking up wins inside of the octagon as the undefeated welterweight is coming off three consecutive wins over Christian Aguilera (via submission at UFC Fight Night 175), Court McGee (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 6), and Ismail Naurdiev (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 169). Brady’s professional record currently stands at 13 wins and 0 losses.
The placement of the welterweight bout between Brady and Muhammad has been yet to be confirmed.
