Originally set for UFC 249, Belal Muhammad will finally take on Lyman Good at the UFC Fight Night show on June 20.
Muhammad enters the bout on a solid two-fight winning streak as the welterweight is coming off wins over Curtis Millender (via unanimous decision at UFC 236) and Takashi Sato (via submission at UFC 242). Despite his loss to Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night 143, the 31-year-old has won four out of his last five fights, with three of the victories coming by unanimous decision. Muhammad’s professional record currently stands at 16 wins and 3 losses.
Good is coming off a win over Chance Rencountre at UFC 244. The welterweight’s record is a mixed bag when it comes to his last five fights, with Good also beating Ben Saunders (via KO at UFC 230) and Andrew Craig (via KO at UFC Fight Night 71). Good’s losses to Demian Maia and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos have kept him out of the top 15 rankings. His professional record is 16 wins and 3 losses.
The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, June 20 with a location and main event set to be announced very soon.
