Ben Askren will be looking to rebound from his shocking 5-second loss against Jorge Masvidal, as the welterweight will return to the octagon and face #10 ranked Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night Singapore.

Coming into the welterweight bout, Maia is riding a nice two-fight winning streak, defeating Lyman Good and Anthony Rocco Martin. The mma veteran’s professional record currently stands at 27 wins and 9 losses.

Before his shocking loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 239, Askren held a win – albeit a controversial one – over Robbie Lawler in his debut match-up at UFC 235. The stunning five-second loss remains the only defeat on Askren’s professional record, as the former ONE Welterweight Champion currently has 19 wins under his belt.

UFC Fight Night Singapore takes place on Saturday, October 26 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Demian Maia and Ben Askren headlining.
