It's been hyped up for months but Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor's highly anticipated boxing match finally took place last night in Las Vegas and the former won by TKO in the tenth round. His win against the UFC fighter puts his incredible record at 50-0 and he seemingly retired from boxing shortly after the win as you can see in the video below.

The groundbreaking fight lasted much longer than anyone expected and McGregor put up an impressive showing all things considered. Mayweather Jr. was just the better boxer, though.

The boxer delivered enough damage that a TKO by the tenth round was inevitable and the fight made history. McGregor is expected to earn a total of $30 million while Mayweather Jr. is expected to take home a guaranteed $100 million. Showtime has also done incredibly well as this was one of the most lucrative PPV events ever. Did you tune into the fight?
