Brandon Moreno is back on top.
The former UFC Flyweight Champion is slowly regaining steam and could be on his way to another crack at the 125-pound belt. Moreno’s performance wasn’t a dominant one as Steve Erceg had his moments here and there in the five round bout.
However, Moreno’s superior striking and skill led him to victory via unanimous decision. Moreno extended his winning streak to two and his record currently stands at 23 wins, 8 losses, and 2 draws. This result also put Erceg in a three-fight skid and the flyweight now has a record of 12 wins and 4 losses.
The co-main event was a quick one as Manuel Torres rocked Drew Dober with a straight hand and finished off Dober with a string of hammer fists for a TKO win in the first round. Torres’ performance earned him an extra $50,000 alongside David Martinez, Ateba Gautier, and Edgar Chairez. Torres’ record now stands at 16 wins and 3 losses. Whereas Dober has fallen into a three-fight skid resulting in a record of 27 wins and 15 losses.
