A flyweight match-up has been confirmed for UFC 255 as Brandon Moreno will take on Alex Perez at the pay-per-view.
Moreno is coming in hot as the flyweight is currently in the midst of a three-fight winning streak. While the 26-year-old does have a draw against Askar Askarov in his UFC return, Moreno has beaten top flyweights Kai Kara-France (via unanimous decision at UFC 245) and Jussier Formiga (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 170). His professional record currently stands at 17 wins, 5 losses, and 1 no contest.
Perez is also riding a three-fight winning streak, with the flyweight dropping Jussier Formiga (via TKO at UFC 250), Mark De La Rosa (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 2) and Jordan Espinosa (via technical submission at UFC Fight Night 166). Since joining the promotion in 2017, Perez has only lost one match-up, which was against Joseph Benavidez via TKO at The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale in 2018. His professional record currently stands at 24 wins and 5 losses.
UFC 255 takes place on Saturday, November 21 with Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt for the UFC Flyweight Championship set as the main event.
