Brendan Allen will now face Kevin Holland at UFC Fight Night Boston.
Originally, Allen was set to face Eric Spicely at the fight night event; however, Holland was forced to withdraw for a disclosed reason and Allen was left without an opponent temporarily until Holland was announced. Holland was set to face Antonio Arroyo at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo and officials are swiftly looking for a replacement.
Allen will be making his UFC debut, as the welterweight was discovered through Dana White’s Contender Series. The Wisconsin native is coming in with a nice four-fight win streak under the Legacy Fight Alliance. Allen’s mixed martial arts score currently stands at 12 wins and 3 losses.
Holland is coming into the fight with a nice win streak himself, as the California native has three straight wins over John Phillips, Gerald Meerschaert and Alessio Di Chirico. The welterweight’s current professional record stands at 15 wins and 4 losses.
UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining.
