A new welterweight bout is set for UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Teixeira as Bryan Barberena and Anthony Ivy will collide at the upcoming event.
Barberena is looking to get back into the win column as the welterweight is currently in the midst of a two-fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Vicente Luque (via TKO at UFC on ESPN 1) and Randy Brown (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 154). Lately, Barberena has had some trouble getting momentum going as the 31-year-old only has one victory on his record in his last four fights. Barberena’s professional stats currently stands at 14 wins and 7 losses.
Ivy enters the bout in search for his first UFC win as the welterweight failed to beat Christian Aguilera in his debut at UFC on ESPN 10. The loss snapped a five-fight winning streak that Ivy got during his time in Fury Fighting Championship. Ivy’s professional record currently stands at 8 wins and 3 losses.
