Recently, UFC uploaded the classic fight between Matt Serra and Georges St-Pierre, and now, the promotion has now made the former UFC Middleweight Champion’s debut against Karo Parisyan available for free.
Throughout his 10-year stint in the business, the Canada native has continuously had incredible bouts against fighters such as B.J. Penn (UFC 58), Matt Hughes (UFC 65), Josh Koscheck (UFC 124), and Michael Bisping (UFC 217).
St-Pierre has an impressive record of 26 wins and 2 losses, with 21 of those wins coming from the UFC itself. However, before the Canadian made his debut with the promotion in 2004, St-Pierre was a relative unknown fighting out of Quebec, Canada and secured an undefeated streak before his fight against Karo Parisyan.
Parisyan was no slouch himself inside the octagon as the middleweight was on a four-fight winning steak before meeting St-Pierre at UFC 46. Known for his tremendous technical game, Parisyan had won eight fights via submission with a record of 10 wins and 2 losses going in. While the middleweight doesn’t have the name recognition like Georges St-Pierre, he’s had a solid career with big victories over names such as Nick Diaz (UFC 49) and Matt Serra (UFC 53).
