This time, UFC uploads the first official fight for reigning welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.

Usman originally made his debut during the 21st season of The Ultimate Fighter back in 2015. Before heading into the finals against Hayder Hassan, the 32-year-old had to go through Michael Graves and former WSOF Welterweight Champion Steve Carl.

Prior to being cast in the American Top Team vs. Blackzilians season, Usman came into the show white hot by dominating the welterweight division in Legacy Fighting Championship. The “Nigerian Nightmare” would suffer a setback in his second professional fight, losing via submission to Jose Caceres back in May 2013; however, Usman would go on undefeated by beating Rashid Abdullah, Steven Rodriguez, Lenny Lovoto, and Marcus Hicks.

Usman would eventually go on to defeat Hassan and the fighter climbed through the ranks of the 170-pound division by besting top talents such as Sérgio Moraes (UFC Fight Night 116), Demian Maia (UFC Fight Night 129), and Rafael dos Anjos (The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale), before getting a dominant win over Tyron Woodley at UFC 235 to win the UFC Welterweight title.
