The latest fight uploaded is the classic UFC Featherweight title match-up between Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo at UFC 179.
Going in, Aldo was already deep into his featherweight title reign; Since becoming the inaugural champion, Aldo managed to defend his belt successfully six times, beating big names such as Kenny Florian (via unanimous decision at 136), Frankie Edgar (via unanimous decision at UFC 156), and Chad Mendes in their first encounter at UFC 142. The Brazilian was riding a strong 18-fight winning streak going into his second bout against Mendes.
Following his loss against Aldo, Mendes rebounded quickly with a first-round TKO win over Cody McKenzie at UFC 148, and continued to rack up victories by defeating names such as Clay Guida (via TKO at UFC 164) and Nik Lentz (via unanimous decision at UFC on Fox 9). Coming into his rematch against the featherweight champ, Mendes was in the midst of a five-fight winning streak.
