A new welterweight bout is set for the fight night card on August 29 as Christian Aguilera will take on Sean Brady.
Aguilera made a successful debut against Anthony Ivy at UFC on ESPN 10 earlier this month. The win has given him a three-fight winning streak, with his other two victories coming from his time in Legacy Fighting Alliance and Celtic Gladiator. Aguilera has also fought in King of the Cage, California Xtreme Fighting, and Cage Fury Fighting Championships. The welterweight’s professional record currently stands at 14 wins and 6 losses.
Brady hopes to continuing racking up wins inside of the octagon as the welterweight is coming off back-to-back victories over Court McGee (via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 6) and Ismail Naurdiev (via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 169). The 27-year-old came into the promotion hot with a strong ten-fight winning streak, beating top names in Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Legacy Fighting Alliance, and Shogun Fights. Brady’s professional record currently stands at 12 wins and 0 losses.
The recently announced UFC card is set for Saturday, August 29 with a location and main event set to be announced. The placement of the welterweight bout is currently unknown.
